4.  Reading Counts:  Bring a silent reading book to school every day. This same book is to be taken home for 20 minutes of independent silent reading. Reading Counts      ~   Month #3 November 16 - December 18.

Be sure to have your parents help you proofread. Parents can even type what you want to write. However, the following students are so far advanced in typing, they can almost type it themselves:

  • Make and share a family tree by the end of the of the "Celebrating Traditions" unit
  • Research a trivia fact for the morning announcement and fill out the orange trivia sheet
  • In the problem 2 + 3 = 5..... 2 and 5 are called addends and the answer is called a sum.  In the problem 5 - 2 = 3, what are the words to describe the 5 and 2 and the answer?
