| Casey McAnally will be recognized by the Lions Club this month for being a good citizen. 1. Band Contest October 17, 2009 Buck Pride will depart White Deer at 10:00 AM. The sign up sheet is on the office window and will be taken down Wednesday October 14 at 3:00 PM. 2. Halloween Carnival October 24, 2009 Buck Pride will be working this event for community service points. The sign up sheet is on the office window. 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM 3 Health Fair October 25, 2009 Students wanting community service points can come help set up at the community center at 1:00 PM. Buck Pride played an instrumental part in the successful year for White Deer High school and the community this last year. The Buck Pride thanks everyone for supporting this great organization. It is now time to get the new school year started. Expectations are high in all areas of extracurricular activities because of last years success. Buck Pride is ready to kick this year off with Julie Brown and Wade Petty as their sponsors. Buck Pride is lucky to get Mrs. Brown for one of their sponsors. She is a very dedicated teacher and supports all activities in our school district. Also joining our organization is White Deer High School Principal Mr. Rober Underwood. We are very fortunate to have Mr. Underwood as our leader and as a part of Buck Pride. Anyone wanting to be in Buck Pride is welcomed. Every year since Buck Pride began no one has had to Purchase their Buck Pride Shirt. This means you Seniors should have three Buck Pride t-shirts. Wow time has gone by fast. The only problem with giving out free t-shirts, everyone wants one and everyone wanting one got one. Some students got their free shirt and never participated in the great organization of Buck Pride. For this reason if you want to be in Buck Pride and get a t-shirt the cost this year will be $5 per shirt. There will be a Buck Pride sign up sheet in the office on the days students pick up their schedules. Go Buck Pride!!!! |
