Mr. Petty

After graduating from West Texas State University in 1982, I began my teaching career in August of 1982 for  White Deer ISD as a high school math teacher and coach. I worked in this district for 3 years before moving to Midland Greenwood. At Greenwood I worked as a math teacher and coach. I stayed there for one year and then moved to New Caney which is north of Houston. At New Caney I was able to to coach with one of my former High School coaches. After leaving New Caney we had an opportunity to move back to the Panhandle.  We  spent a year at Stratford ISD before moving to Borger in 1988. I taught and coached at Borger for five years before coming back to White Deer.  I am proud to say my wife and my three children Suni, Cassie and Parker are all White Deer graduates.

This is a community rich in traditions. Lets hang on to what we have and continue to make this a better place.
