This class Is 2nd Period

This class is 2nd period.

The biggest problem with this great group of young men is getting them to class prepared to learn. Parents please check to see if your child has their math work. We will do a math assignment every day.

This is a great group of young gentlemen. One of my goals for this class is for them to improve their TAKS scale score.

This year we are using CScope along with other materials for the curriculum. Every student is expected to participate in small groups and individually.

We began the first six weeks studying Characteristics of Functions. The TEKS cover were A.1, A.2, A.3, and 8.4. Process TEKS: 8.14, 8.15, 8.16

We are a little behind because this unit was to take 14 days to complete.

This six weeks (October 5 - November 14) we will be studying Equations and Inequalities the first 15 days.

Tuesday October 6 One and two step equations. Due on Wednesday.
