Remember AR? It’s back! Here is how it works:

·        Read a book.

·        Take a test over the book.

·        If you make a 70% or greater, your points will count towards our grand prize drawing!

·        For every 5 points you earn, you will earn a ticket that will go into a drawing for a chance to win an iPad2!

To see if there is a test on your book:

1.     Visit http://www.arbookfind.com/

2.     Type in the title of your book, the author of your book, or the topic of your book and click the GO button. Your results will then come up.

3.     Look for your book in the list. Make sure the title, author, and picture (if one is available) match your book.

4.     If you find your book, look for the words, ‘AR Test No.’ and write down the number that follows.

Ex: AR Quiz No. 106101

5.     If you don’t find a book in your results, there is not a test for your book.

To test on a book:

1.     Visit the testing website by visiting the WOHS Library website (http://www.myteacherpages.com/webpages/wohslibrary/), clicking on the ‘Accelerated Reader’ tab to your left, and then clicking on the red circle with the bear paw in it:

2.     Type in your AR username and password. If you don’t have one, you can get one from the librarian.

3.     Enter your quiz number.

4.     Begin your test!

Remember:

·        Every 5 points=1 ticket into the grand prize drawing

·        You may test on a book that you read this semester only.

·        You must make a 70% on your test for it to count towards your point value for tickets.

·        This semester the winner will receive a brand new iPad2.

·        You have until December 9^th @ 4 p.m. to test for the frist semester drawing. The prize winner will be announced on December 14^th.
