2008-2009

Academic Team – Amy Ward, Christine Nobley, sponsors

• 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade students  - by selection based on pre-assessment results
• meet weekly after school for practice sessions
• participate in RESA academic meets at the system and district level

Chorus – Sherlera Morton, sponsor

• 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade students - based on interest
• meet weekly after school for rehearsals – 1st semester only
• perform at school functions and community activities

Art Club – Gayle Daughtrey, sponsor

• 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade students - based on interest
• meet weekly after school – 2nd semester only
• create and display artwork for the school and community

Navigators – Susan Wooldridge, sponsor

• 4^th and 5^th grade students -  by invitation (based on academic achievement and good character)
• meet monthly during the school day
• participate in school and community functions (such as the Christmas Parade)

Book Clubs – Mary Anne Shepherd, sponsor

• 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade students – based on interest
• lunch meetings scheduled throughout the school year
• read selected books and participate in group discussions

Student Council

• 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade students – voted on by homeroom to represent their class
• meet monthly after school
• participate in school and community functions

Girl Scouts

• girls in K-5^th grade – based on interest
• meet twice monthly after school
