Hello!  My name is Wendi Evans.  I am the counselor for the Class of 2011.  I started my career as a teacher in 1996 after obtaining my bachelor's degree from West Chester University.  I taught special education at Cherry Hill Middle School for two years before transferring to Elkton High School.  In 2002 I graduated from Wilmington College with my Master of Education degree in Secondary Counseling.  Then in February 2003 I started my position as School Counselor at Rising Sun High School and have been enjoying it ever since.

I am married with two boys.  My husband and I met at Sandy Cove Bible Conference.  He is from Wales.  We married in April 1998.  Our first son, Macsen, was born in May 2002, and our younger son, Celyn, was born in 2006.  We live in North East close to my parents and where I grew up, Charlestown.
