The Victor PTSA has many opportunities to volunteer throughout the year. They are at all different levels of commitment from a few hours to being on the board and also just supplying baked goods for different functions. Below you will find a listing of available opportunities to volunteer at VCS through the PTSA. We will list as much information as possible and also a contact person. (Please note that you do not have to be a member to volunteer)

Events:
Book Fair scheduled at the Jr. High School on April 5th - 9th. The shifts will be 9am - 12pm and 12pm -3pm Monday - Friday in the Media Center. There will also be evening hours on Monday from 6pm - 9pm in the Cafeteria.

Committees:
Nominating Committee – Helps with the nomination process of the new PTSA Executive Board in the Spring Contact Dana Distasio [ddistasio@rochester.rr.com]
PRNC (Parent Rep Nomination Committee) PTSA Rep - The Parent Rep Nominating Committee (PRNC) is currently looking for a PTSA Rep. for the 2010-2011 school year. This volunteer position does not require a lot of time and can mostly be done via email with 1 - 2 meetings throughout the school year.
The PRNC is predominantly a selection committee which reviews Shared Decision Making Applications and makes parent recommendations for these committees to the three parent groups: PIE, PTSA and VOICE. The busiest time is in May when the committee must review SDM applications and submit recommendations to the three parent groups.
