VCS Campus News:

ID Policy

As part of our ongoing effort to ensure the highest level of security possible, we will be asking you to provide us with photo identification when issued a visitors badge to enter any building on campus during school hours. Your identification will be returned to you when you exit and return the visitors badge at the main office. This new measure will begin on February 1, 2010. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our schools safe and secure.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Does my ID have to be a driver’s license?

A: No, any kind of third party identification with a photo that represents your current likeness is fine.

Q: Why is VCS implementing this new policy?

A: There are several reasons for the new procedure; however the primary reason is to ensure the safety of every person in the building in the event of an emergency.

Q: What if I forget my ID?

A: If you forget your ID you will need to be escorted to and from your destination by a VCS staff member.

Thank you for your Cooperation,
