Greetings from Pre-K!

     I would like to thank all of you for choosing St. Pius X School.  My Name is Mrs O'Neill and I will be the teacher for Pre-K 1, 2, and 3. 

     Pre-K is a very important time in a child's life, in most cases it is the first educational experience for children.  Our philosophy at St. Pius is make your child's educational experience joyful and to instill a love of learning.  You as the parent are the first teacher in your child's life, we respect that and we will have open communication with you in regards to your child. 

     Prior to teaching Pre-K, I taught kindergarten for nine years across the hall.  I believe that my past experience teaching kindergarten will be valuable.  I have knowledge of what is expected of children when they enter kindergarten, and I can transfer this knowledge to what the children should be taught in Pre-K. 

     I have entered the school's academic calendar, for 2009-2010, into the calendar on this website; and, I will put other information into the calendar when I receive it.
