Hello Everyone!
It is so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is almost here! Time is flying, and the children are doing a terrific job. Last week we finished up working on the letter Dd. The children are doing a good job with recognizing their numbers. We will continue to write the numbers throughout the year. We also discussed bullying and how it is not acceptable in our room and in our school. We shared what can be done if a person is bullied or witnesses another student being bullied. In class we also talked about the food drive and how we are helping other people, the way Jesus would want us to help them.
This week and next week we will work on the letter Tt. We will continue to work on numbers and 1:1 correspondence. In class, we will discuss Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful.
REMINDERS:
· Tuesday, November 18th is picture re-take day. If you did not like your child’s picture or did not have the picture taken, your child can have his/her picture taken on this day. Please return the picture that was taken or be prepared to pick out and pay for a picture package. Your child should wear his/her PE uniform that day. Pre-K 2 parents can bring children directly to the parish center; you do not have to report to the classroom. Pre-K 1 and Pre-K 3 parents please report to the room, and then take your child to get his/her picture taken. Since not all children are having pictures taken, we are not taking the classes down to the parish center. I believe that pictures will be taken from 8:30-1:30 PM.
· Pre-K 2 and Pre-K 3 Please remember to send in your $25.00 Scotia Glenville payment asap.
· There will be no school on Thursday, November 20th due to conferences. Pre-K 2 and Pre-K 3 parents who have not signed up for conferences should see me as soon as possible.
· Please remember the calendar change: we have no school on Wednesday, November 26th!
· Pre-K 3 Christmas Concert will be held on December 10th.
· Since there is such a short week next week, I will not send out a newsletter. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
