What's New in Third Grade?

Friday folders-a folder will come home every Friday with graded work for the week.  A behavior chart is also in the folder.  Please look through it, sign it, and have your child return it on Monday.

Important papers/notes to me-I do not check take home folders every morning.  I verbally ask the class if anyone has important papers for me, lunch money, etc.  Please tell your child if you have anything he/she should give to me. 

Water bottles-feel free to bring a water bottle to class.  It is nice and cool in our room in the mornings, but by the afternoon it is extremely hot.  Water only; no sports drinks, etc.

Uniforms-If you are unsure what is acceptable to wear, please check the handbook.  Yes, boys and girls, you have to tuck your shirts in :)!

Our Wish List

Often times parents will ask me if there is anything they can get for our class.  Below is some items we are in need of.

• Lysol (or any brand) of wipes.  With flu season approaching, we will be wiping our desks daily.
• Paper Towels
• Dry erase markers for our whiteboards.
• Prizes for our class store-from small things, such as erasers, to items from the Dollar Tree.  Please, no items over $1.00.
