   Welcome to the Genet Elementary School Health Office website.  My goal is to help your child have a happy HEALTHY school year.  I have added links to websites I use as a mom and school nurse that pertain to our children.

       Please stress good hand washing with your child/children. Eighty percent of germs are transmitted through the hands. As spring and summer approaches,  each child will being going outside for recess every day so please send him or her to school with appropriate playground footwear.

      Also, to protect the skin from over exposure to the sun, please apply sunscreen before school and students should wear sun hats,sunglasses, lip balm and light coloured loose fitting clothing .
