Behavior Management: Each student is responsible for his/her own behavior. Students will have opportunities to work as a classroom community. When the class, as a whole, is recognized as doing well, a marble will be placed in a marble jar. When the marble jar is full, we will have a classroom party! Students will also have the opportunity to work independently towards excellence. Every Monday, students will receive $1.91. If they follow all classroom rules during the week, they will get to keep their money. However, students will have to give some money if they need reminders or behavior problems occur. In addition, students will receive check marks if reminders are needed. Then, when I feel the time is right, we will open up Room 3’s shop and the students will be able to buy items with their earned money. At the end of the year, all students should be able to count money and figure out change.
