Welcome To My Webpage
I was born and raised in Southern California. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis on Culture and Art in International Studies from the University of Oregon. I then obtained my Multiple Subject CLAD Clear teaching credential and Masters degree in Education from Pepperdine University. This year will be my seventh year at Birney School. I spent my first four years teaching 1st grade and taught 2nd grade for two years. Therefore, this will be my fifth year teaching 1st grade and third year teaching 2nd grade.
Since I was a little girl, I wanted to teach and now I do what I love. I truly feel I was meant to be a teacher and I cannot think of any other job that I would like to do more than this.
Over the summer, I got married in Kauai. You may know me as Ms. Meyer. I love living by the beach and being with my family. Most of all, I love teaching at Birney School.
