This week we will continue with rounding but take it one step further.  We will be rounding decimals to the Thousandth place.  Please have your child tell you all about it.

This week will be using protractors to measure angles.  We will also be identifying  angles. Please have your child tell you all about it.

12/7/08 
This week we will work on long division checking our quotients using multiplication.  Should be a lot of fun.  Please have your child share this new skill with you at home.

12/1/08
This week 5th grade students will be working on multiplying decimals and using these skills to solve story problems problems.  Please ask your child to share their new skills with you at home.
