COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Banking: everything okay, will find out in the next few days about Affinity check
Blood Drive: Tomorrow April 9th, please come out and donate blood
Box Tops: Winners for April are Mrs. Rooney, Mrs. Fabrizio, Mrs. Saporito and Mrs. Roaldsen. Shop on line through the Box Top website
Book Fair: Next Tuesday, April 15th. Set up during the day
Clothing: Flyers went home for sweatshirts, t-shirts and shorts
Cultural Arts: “Night Sky” was wonderful, all the children enjoyed it. April 29th the Long Island Philharmonic
Fathers Day: Volunteer sheets will be out next meeting
Founders Day: Mr. Flynn won, was awarded yesterday
Fourth Grade T-Shirts: Done, very nice
Fourth Grade Yearbook: Done, coming in May 20th. Order forms go home next week.
Helmets: Went well, sent in order
Honorary Life: winner was picked, will find out at District Dinner
Hospitality: Thank you Jen and someone to stay and help cleanup
Membership: Mr. Flynn and Mrs. Emigholz are the winners
Newsletter: Last issue will be the end of June and will contain pictures of activities throughout the year
PARP: Going well. Will judge book covers, winning classes will receive book bags. The children are enjoying the mystery readers.
Plant Sale: Pre-orders due back tomorrow. Student sale May 8th & 9th
School Pictures: Pictures were taken today, went well
School Store: going well, will have one last order
SEPTA: meeting canceled, next meeting 4/29
Shared Decision: with Mrs. Newman
Special Guest Day: Gifts and snacks are purchased

Team Adventure Day: Is May 21st, are in the process of ordering Red and White t-shirts that say “ I Survived Stokes Team Adventure Day”

NEW BUSINESS:
Motion was passed to purchase 2 new Parachutes for Team Adventure Day
About $180.00 each
Motion was passed to purchase new mats for the front door about $3000.00

OLD BUSINESS:
MRS. EMIGHOLZ: The staff appreciates all of the PTA’s help
MRS. NEWMAN:
- Second grade took the Terra Nova tests
- Kindergarten picnic will be on June 10th, rain date June 16th. Will be held in the morning, so it is not too hot. Will be the same amount of time.
- No wheelie sneakers or open toe sandals in school
- If children bring in cell phones they need to be turned off and stay in their backpacks
- Don’t send children in with toys
- Shared Decision- we have a 1st grader who is ill. We are trying to raise funds for the family. The night of the Book Sale we will have a Bake Sale. We are also looking for other ideas, if you have any please contact the Shared Decision Team
