We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2009-10 school year. If you are new to Michael F. Stokes, we welcome you to this wonderfulschool and hope you will enjoy your time here. We would like you to support the Stokes PTA Membership is open to all parents, granparents,relatives, friends, faculty and staff who wish to promote better education and provide more resources to our children.

From homework to recess, from friendship to family, your child's development never stops and neither will we. Each of us needs to play an important role in the quality of our children's education and in their welfare. The PTA can provide an atmosphere to accomplish this.

Your membership dollars help the PTA to provide many wonderful programs for our children: cultural arts, book fairs, team adventure day and many other exciting programs.

Volunteering doesn't mean a huge time committment. An hour or two makes a big difference. And we have jobs to fit your time schedule. We even have tasks that don't involve coming to school at all. Even if you unable to volunteer, please support the PTA by becoming a member because every penny counts.

Please send in your membership fee of $8.00 for each joining member. The class with the highest percentage of members will be treated to something special sponsored by the PTA.
