Membership

 We would like to invite you to support the Michael F. Stokes PTA by becoming a member. Membership is open to all parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, faculty and staff who wish to promote a better education and provide more resources to our children. From homework to recess, friendship to family,your child's development never stops, and neither will we. Each of us needs to play an important role in the quality of our children's education and welfare. PTA can provide an atmosphere to accomplish this.

Your membership dollars help the PTA to provide many wonderful programs for our children; cultural arts, fall and spring book fairs, Team Adventure Day,and many more exciting programs.We also provide support for school activites including class parents. This means that all class parents need to be paid PTA members.

Volunteering doesn't mean a hugh time commitment. An hour or two can make a big difference. We have jobs to fit your time schedule. We even have jobs that don't involve coming to school at all. Even if you can't volunteer, please support the PTA by becoming a member; every penny counts.

The membership fee is $8.00 per joining member. The class with the most joining members will be treated to something special sponsored by the PTA.
