These are Career Technology Education(CTE)programs that can be taken either at Cecil County School of Technology or (in some cases) at the home school.
Career Cruising
Each student at RSHS has their own personal account through Career Cruising. If you have lost your username and password, just ask for an additional copy. This site allows you to research careers and create a resume. It is a wealth of information that is great for preparing for the future.
Career Path
This is a subsidiary of Career Builder. CareerPath.com is a career resource center that will assist you in making the right career decisions. Assistance is provided with career tests, advice and resources.

Career Explorer is here to help you navigate through a wealth of information about your future career. Find news, including the ten hottest careers. If you don't know where you want to work, we include a wide range of career descriptions. Several of those are within the business and medical professions. We also have information about the truck driving industry. For on-the-job experience, check out our tips for finding the right internships for you.

Career Resources
Career Resources is a well-established non-profit workforce development organization that has achieved national recognition for preparing youth and adults in Southwestern Connecticut to gain employment and progress in their careers. Career Resources provides them with skills, resources, and support necessary for personal development, economic self-sufficiency, and career advancement, and also provides planning and staffing resources to the business community in support of workforce development.

Occupational Outlook Handbook
The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. The Handbook is revised every two years.
AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a full-time, team-based residential program for men and women age 18–24. Members are assigned to one of five campuses, located in Denver, Colorado; Sacramento, California; Perry Point, Maryland; Vicksburg, Mississippi; and Vinton, Iowa.
National Court Reporters Association
The Bureau of Labor Statistics 2010-2011 Edition of the Occupational Outlook Handbook states "employment of court reporters is projected to grow 18 percent, faster than the average for ALL occupations between 2008-2018. This website offers opportunities to learn more about reporting and captioning professions.
