Interactive Whiteboards
Interactive whiteboards are appearing in an increasing number of schools and classrooms. Key benefits (Becta ICT Research) -
encourages more varied, creative and seamless use of teaching material. -
engages students to a greater extent than conventional whole class teaching, increasing enjoyment and motivation. -
facilitates student participation through the ability to interact with materials on the board. I think it's one of the best inventions since sliced bread. RM Easiteach and Mult-e-maths software are two of the popular softwares in use. However there is a lot of free software that you can use on the whiteboards. It's just a matter of researching them out. Below are some files that I have used using the software, and incorporating lots of graphics. Feel free to down load what you like. You may need to adjust the files a little, to best suit your computer size and/or whiteboard size. If you do not have Easiteach software to view the files you can down load a free Easiteach reader. After clicking the link, look to your right and continue the link from there.
