A terse verse is a two-word poem that rhymes. One phrase is given as an explanation. The terse verse is the rhymed synonym for it. (These are also called higgly-piggly or hinky-pinky poems.) For example: 1. What do you call a rabbit's seat? Terse verse: a hare's chair 2. What do you call a monster trainer? Terse verse: a creature teacher 3. What do you call a sugary snack? Terse verse: a sweet treat
