Write a summary of the opening of the novel you selected. 
Next, poetry grades  will be returned, and vocabulary
for “The Highwayman” will be introduced.

1. Continue reading the novel you selected.
2. Prepare for the vocab. quiz 4-6 which will be given on Thursday.

Next week in English class, students will read the radio play, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, adapted from the short story written by Washington Irving. 
At home, students should read the novels they selected.  Novels must be read by November 16.  Afterwards, students will complete creative projects based on their books.
