School is closed for the following holidays and conference days. School closings and early dismissal days are also listed on the Island Trees School District calendar.
If school is to be closed because of inclement weather or other emergency, the following radio and TV stations may announce the closing: 740, 1010, 1100, 1240, 1290 or click on the link below for Cablevision News12 Long Island. Announcements will be made for the Island Trees School District, and should not be confused with announcements for the Levittown School District. Teachers will contact parents of those students they would like to see for a conference. Not every parent will be seen on each regularly scheduled conference day.
When you receive a request for a conference, please make note of the date and time and return the form back to the teacher as soon as possible. If you are unable to keep a scheduled conference, please contact the teacher by a written note or call the main office at 520-2103.

They are a reflection of a child's progress in school. During the first quarter, first graders will not receive grades for academic areas. A conference will be held with the parents to discuss academic progress.
Parents are required to sign and return the report card envelope to the teacher on the day following the distribution of report cards.
