WELCOME TO THE J. FRED SPARKE PTA WEBSITE 2009-2010 
Dear Parents of J. Fred Sparke Students; Knowing that this year is well underway, we still wanted to take the opportunity to welcome you all to another year here at J. Fred Sparke. There have already been many successful events that have taken place this year such as Kindergarten Orientation, Meet the Teacher, New Parent and Class Parent Teas and our annual Halloween Party as well as the Scholastic Book Fair where the children had a great time picking out books for themselves. Parents also got the opportunity to shop during teacher conferences. We had a chance to go shopping during the wonder Vendors Sale and Holiday Boutique and Craft Fair. If you have not become a member of the PTA it’s not too late. You can still send in your membership fee of $7.00 at anytime. Your membership dues go a long way in providing many of the above mentioned programs. Send your membership dues in an envelope with your name and the names and grades of your children. We would also like to keep you informed as well as possible by email alerts. We have set up an account to send out reminders of upcoming events and ask for donations and volunteers. This is a great way of keeping up to date in case those flyers don’t make it home. If you would like your name added to our contact list please email us at djmksparkepta@gmail.com . The last thing we would like to mention is volunteering. Without the volunteers it is very hard to carry out these events. Even if you volunteer just a half an hour it can make a big difference in the success of an event. So please think of volunteering when those flyers and emails come to you. Every moment that you give can make a difference. We hope that you and your families have a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
