This week in Language Arts, we will have 10 new spelling and 6 new vocabulary words. We are also learning the sound of ing and ang in words such as sing and sang. Our story this week is a nonfiction story called Where Do Frogs Come From? There IS an Accelerated Reader quiz for this story.

In Math, we will finish Chapter 24, Telling Time. You can work on telling time at home with your child. We are only learning time to the hour and half hour. We will also continue working with addition concepts in Math. Some students will be taking the addition with 2s timed test again on Wednesday. Check your child's homework folder tonight to see if they passed or not. Keep studying flash cards at home! Our timed tests have 20 problems, and the students have 80 seconds to complete the problems.

We will work on Ss, Bb, and Pp in printing.

In Religion, we will finish Chapter 7 on loving God and others. We will have a test over this chapter on Thursday.
