Jolly October is here once again!

Grade 6 is now studying Ancient Egypt:

                    The Nile Valley

                    The all-powerful pharaohs

                    government and religion

Grade 7 is completing chapter 2 which dealt with Exploring the Americas

                     The Americas today consist of people from many cultures around the globe.

                     Native Americans, Spanish, Africans, and others have all played key roles in shaping

                                  the culture we now call American.

Grade 8 is studying the The Western Frontier.

                     Settlement of the Great Plains came along with the development of machines for

                                   plowing, planting, and harvesting. This combination still makes the

                                   Midwest a leader in supplying meat and grain to the world.
