Social Studies Assignments Friday, September 5 6th Grade We have been discussing WWII in the Pacific Theater and the internment of Japanese-Americans. There is no homework over the weekend. 7th Grade On Thursday or Friday, the 7s will be given guidelines for a writing a journal entry from the perspective of either Sir Arthur Evans (the excavator of Knossos in Crete) or Heinrich Schliemann (the excavator of Troy in western Turkey). They will be given a number of items that could be included in this entry (approximately 300 words, typed) which is due Thursday or Friday (depending on section) of next week. 8th Grade Both sections of 8s have a test on Islam on Monday. Review of the packet and accompanying worksheets is highly recommended in preparation for the test.
