Vieths Weekly NewsWeekly NewsMay 29-June 1Hold on to your hats for a busy week! We have May Crowning on Wednesday. This is a long tradition at SMS. Each student brings a flower and we process down at church to give it to Mary. An 8th grader has the honor of crowning Mary with a halo of flowers. As a school, we have a prayer service and say the rosary. It is beautiful. Friday is Track and Field day...another tradition! Spirit Groups come up with names, dress in costume for a parade, then spend the day visiting different games at Manthey Park. Your child had a note with the name of their team and costume ideas. Please don't feel the need to buy anything...just use what you have and if you don't have it...no big deal! The most important part is tennis shoes and sunscreen! I am taking a personal day on Thursday to chaperone the preschool fieldtrip to the MN Zoo with my boys. Graduation invites came home on Friday. Our program will be on June 5th from 5:15 to 5:45. All families, friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors etc are invited to attend! :)Thank you to Erin Knudson for volunteering to steam our gowns!Reminders:
