About the TeacherHello! It's a pleasure to be your child's teacher. I graduated from The College of St. Teresa and have been teaching for many years. Although this is my 32nd year in education, I continue to find teaching both exciting and rewarding.
It is my philosophy that children learn best in a supportive environment that provides challenges as children are ready. Muliti-level lessons encourage each child to proceed at his/her own pace, building confidence and self-esteem. I love teaching Kindergarten and hope that my enthusiasm is reflected in my work with the children.
My husband George is a counselor at OHS. I have three grown children and two beautiful grandbabies! My hobbies include reading, exercising, visiting teacher websites, cooking, and spending time with my family.
"education should try to preserve the most remarkable features of the young mind - its adventurousness, its resourcefulness, and its flashes of flexibility and creativity." -Howard Gardener

Here’s to the kids who are different, Kids they call crazy or dumb, Kids who don’t fit, With the guts and the grit, Who dance to a different drum.
Here’s to the kids who are different, Kids with a mischievous streak. For when they have grown, As history has shown, It’s their difference that makes them unique.
