What exactly is living? Is non-living the same as dead? How was I blessed with my dad's nose and my mom's chin? Why do leaves change colors? Find the answers to these burning questions and more in 7th grade science!

Our primary areas of focus this year include:

  • Cells - structure, function, purpose
  • Diversity and classification of organisms
  • Survey of living things
  • Genetics and heredity
  • Microscopy
  • Populations & ecosystems
  • Energy flow

Most of our work will be done in class; however, there will be times students need to bring work home, or complete an activity outside of class. Keep an eye on the Homework and My Calendar links.
