8th Grade Advanced Math

8th graders in Advanced Math will complete all the skills taught in the Algebra 1 textbook. These skills are prerequisites for entering Advanced Placement Math courses at Owatonna High School. Topics covered will be algebra foundations, equations, inequalities, linear, quadratic, exponential, and radical functions, exponents, polynomials, data analysis, and probability.

The 8th graders will be using Holt Algebra 1.

Holt has a helpful website where students can go for help with homework problems, additional practice problems, and other interactive features. It also has an online textbook so they can never use the excuse that they forgot their math book at home! Click here to get to the site: my.hrw.com
