7th Grade Language Arts

During the second quarter, we have gone to single grade Language Arts classes. As part of our Junior High's interdisciplinary unit on Respect Life, the 7th graders will be reading Touching Spirit Bear. This book focuses on the Human Dignity aspect of respecting life as it depicts how a 15 year old learns to value his own worth and the worth of those around him after committing a crime that leaves another teenager with a lifelong injury. Click here to learn more about this book and its author.
