Multiplication Masters Each day we practice our multiplication facts. I would encourage you to practice with your child at home. Here are some ideas of what to practice and when to practice: We often think, "There just isn't time to sit down with my child." I often feel the same with my own children but I have come across moments in my day when I can practice skills with my daughters. Dinner or riding in the car is a great example. Ask your child multiplication facts while sitting down at the dinner table. This will give you an opportunity to check to see what your child has learned and also give them a chance to practice. If your child has an older sibling who has already mastered their multiplication skills, have them work with your child. They might have learned or taught themselves neat tricks on how to remember their multiplication facts. They can pass down their tricks to the younger sibling. There are a lot of internet games out there that allow your child to practice their multiplication skills. One in particular is Education City. Our school has a subscription to this site. A sheet was sent home with their password earlier this year. If you need another copy of it, please let me know. There are also other games that your child can practice on here as well. Remember: "Practice makes perfect." Mrs. Milligan
