Statement of Purpose

WE, the fifth grade students of Holly Hall Elementary School Room 215, have thought seriously about our education as we begin our last year in the elementary grades. We have thought about the question, "Why are we here?" and have discussed our thoughts with our classmates, teacher, and parents/guardians. We believe that we are here to:
- Learn new things
- Pass fifth grade with good grades
- Get a good education
- Prepare ourselves for sixth grade
- Prepare ourselves for college
- Get a good job and have the career that we want
WE, the fifth grade students of Holly Hall Elementary School Room 215, have also thought about the question, "What do we have to do well to make these things happen?" and, again, have discussed our thoughts with our classmates, teacher, and parents/guardians. We agree that we will have to:
- Follow "the Rule"
- Be respectful to our teachers and our classmates at all times
- Never drop out of school
- Go to college
- Pay attention
- Do our best
- Listen
- Be prepared
- Feel free to ask questions
- Eat a healthy breakfast
- Get a good night's sleep
- Be nice and helpful to one another
