Rules & Procedures

Classroom Rules:

• Raise your hand to speak
• Respect yourself, classmates, teachers, and school property
• Come to class ready to work and will all materials needed
• Follow the school uniform policy

Consequences for Negative Behavior:

1. Warning (A)
2. Conduct grade lowered (A-)
3. Conduct grade lowered (B+)
4. No recess (B-)
5. Conference with teacher (C)
6. Parents contacted by phone or note (C-)
7. Detention the following Monday from 3-3:30 (D+)
8. Detention and appropriate consequences (D- or F)

Homework Policy:

• Complete by 7:30 the next day
• Late assignments will receive a 10% point grade deduction

Friday Folders:

• Each Friday a note will be sent home in the students Friday folder reporting on the student's conduct grade, behavior, and any late work. Included at the bottom of the note are upcoming tests or projects. Papers in the folder should be reviewed by both parent and student. It is a good idea to save papers until the end of the 9 week period. Please sign the note in the folder, remove the papers, and return the folder on Monday.
