Global Awareness/Community Service Opportunities

This year in World Cultures, the students will complete a variety of activities to help increase their global awareness and cultural tolerance - completing hands on projects, watching videos, evaluating primary and secondary sources, researching people and topics of the ancient world and their impact on us today, etc...below are a few organizations that we will be working with to further enrich the students experience in my class and to help promote a greater world view. I think the knowledge and understanding they will gain through these experiences will be invaluable and help foster life skills like respect, tolerance, and compassion for others.
