Welcome to Mrs. Brown's class website! We are closing out the final nine weeks and enjoying the last few special events that we have planned for the kids, in addition to preparing for exams. There will be a couple of yearbook signing days, and we also have a special WOO HOO planned as our way of saying goodbye to this incredible class. We will have a slideshow of some of our activities throughout the year and will name several of our Stingrays as our Ambassadors of the Three Rs. We expect great things from this class and hope that this honor will help encourage them to uphold the ideals of being Respectful, Responsible, Role Models through the summer and beyond.
As the students progress through middle school, it is imperative that they stay involved in school activities and the community. We like to encourage them to join the different clubs and athletic teams that we have at SGMS. We are extremely proud of students and want to help them be successful in any way that they can, so if they need volunteer hours or letters of recommendation, we are definitely here for them.
Thank you for all you have done to help make this year so successful and enjoyable. All of the students have unbelievable potential, and I hope that I can continue to see them tap into that and make the very best of their talents, as there are many. I truly can't wait to see what the future holds for them...they have set the bar really high! :) My only regret for this year is that it truly went by too quickly. I have enjoyed every second with the students and just wish that there was more time with them. They have such unique perspectives and have kept us smiling and laughing (most of the time)! ;) I love seeing them experience the world around them and open up about what is important for them, so thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your child's life. They have inspired me, impressed me, challenged me, and amused me every single day, and I have loved every minute. To you and your families, I say thank you for the support, encouragement, and participation that made this year the unique experience it was. Much love and admiration, Mrs. Brown! :)
