Meet Mrs. Fancher

This year marks my twenty-seventh year of teaching.  I am so proud to be part of the wonderful faculty at Camp Creek Elementary.  I have taught Kindergarten students for twenty-four years and I think the Kindergarten students are the best!  You might say that I am living my dream because my career goal as a teenager was to become a teacher.  I received my undergraduate degrees from Young Harris College and LaGrange College, and my master's degree from the University of Georgia. 

I am an Atlanta native and currently live in Peachtree Corners with my husband, daughter and son.  My children are Camp Creek cubs!  When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing in vocal groups, sewing, and playing golf.

My Misssion for Our Class

Above all, I want my students to love learning and eagerly look forward to coming to school each day!  In addition, I want my students to grow in responsibility and good citizenship as the year progresses.  My high expectations for classroom conduct keep us focused on learning.

In the classroom, I love to read to and sing with my students.  knowing five and six year old children well, I provide many "hands on" learning activities consistent with their developmental needs.  I hope your child will find me to be a consistent, loving and patient teacher.
