Math Proficiency Information Study Hard!

Use the links at left to find a varity of ways to prepare yourself for the math portion of the NHSPE.  Below are some hints...

1. Any Nevada student can use the online tutorial, it's free and you just need to know your name and student number (no beginning zeros).  Our county is "Clark".
2. Quiz yourself using the practice proficiency exams provided. Not enough?  Use the hundreds of math review problems attached, divided into the 4 main topics of the exam.  Focus on the area you feel you're weakest in.  Keys are provided.
3. Proficiency Tutoring is available at local libraries.  Flyers with times and locations are at the link at left.
4. Want a clue about what types of questions are on the test?  What to do to prepare for the test?  What can you do the day of the test?  There is a powerpoint linked at right that can answer many of your questions.  
5. There are two released versions of the exam, one that is similar to the test Seniors take and one similar to the one that Sophomores and Juniors will take.
