Classroom News » Congratulations to BEST Seniors!
The Oral Lee Brown Foundation picked up ten of our Seniors in their junior year! At the initial interview, our students were interviewed and arrived dressed for success! Several came together to make sure they all had a way! The result: Ronald Mills, Derricka Grundy, Shanequia Shannon, Henok Gidey, Michael Huynh, Caprice Moncrease, and Franco Nguon, Rotha Sa, Nancy To, and Darion Jefferson were accepted by the program. Each of the BEST students above have made a pledge to keep their grades up and provide report cards to the foundation. They meet each Saturday for College Readiness Program that includes SAT Prep, college research, and support for academic success. In exchange for this commitment and program participation, Mrs. Brown has promised our students full rides through college plus all books! CONGRATULATIONS, BEST SENIORS!
