Each class will have their own page during the regular school year. Information that partains to all classes will be on this page.

4th Grade Recorder Class - All of the students have 1 recorder right now. We had to order some new recorders in order to have 2 for everyone. We have started work on 'Recorder Belt' music. The students need to keep their music in a 3-ring binder.

5th Grade Beginning Band - We will use the first couple of weeks to decide which instrument you want to play. I hope that we will all have instruments to play by Sept. 8. The school will furnish you a book and, if needed, an instrument. Students who want to play Saxophone must furnish their own instrument. Students who want to play percussion must score in the top 5% on the rhythm test, have an "A" average, and have not been sent to the school office for behavior problems during their 4th Grade year. We will meet in the Elementary Music Room.

6th Grade Cadet Band & 7th Grade Concert Band - If you have your instrument please bring it the first day of class. I will be getting information from you and checking out school instruments. Most of the students have their instruments. We are passing out books and music. We will be auditioning students for percussion. No more than 3 in each class. They must have an A/B overall grade average, have not been sent to office for disciplinary action from band, and be the top scorers on the rhythm test.
