Students must cite all resources used for school projects and reports.  In order to avoid the serious offense and consequences of plagiarism, just follow these easy guidelines!

REMEMBER:

• Put all citations in alphabetical order
• Do not number the citations
• Indent the second line of the citation
• Spell out the names of months

Book Source	Author’s last name, First name.  Title of the Book.       City : Publisher, copyright date. (If there is more than one author, city or publisher, select only one for the citation.  If your book only has an editor, use Editor’s last name, First name, ED. in the citation.)
Encyclopedia Article (print article)	Author of the Article last name, First name.  “Title       of the article.”  Name of Encyclopedia,       copyright date ed. (If you cannot find the author of the website, skip Author’s last name, First name and proceed with all other information.)
Encyclopedia Article (online article)	Author’s last name, First name.  “Title of the       article.”  Name of Encyclopedia, copyright       date ed. [Online].
Website or Internet Site	Author’s last name, First name.  Title of the Site.        [Online]  Available  http://internet address,       Date you visited the Site. (If you cannot find the author of the website, skip Author’s last name, First name and proceed with all other information.)
Magazine Article (print article)	Author’s last name, First name.  “Title of the      Article.”  Name of Magazine, volume (date of      magazine), pages.
Magazine Article (online article)	Author’s last name, First name.  “Title of the      Article.”  Name of Magazine, volume (date of      magazine), pages. [Online] Provider.
Personal Interview	Interviewee’s Last name, First name.  Personal      Interview. Date of Interview.
