Language Arts– We will continue reading books and using the two long vowel rules.  We will be focusing on the long sound of “o”. We will continue writing sentences and forming words with the sounds that students hear.

 Math– We are doing subtraction problems where we are borrowing from the ten rod column. We will continue doing addition problems where the students carry to the tens and 100’s place. We are also counting the penny, nickel and dime. The students are working on simple word problems called “problem of the day.”

Religion– The students are studying about Guardian Angels.

Social Studies– We will complete our unit on Citizenship.

 We will not have a King or Queen Bee the next 2 weeks due to Winter Break.
