We are finishing our first month of school. Students have done some wonderful work in the Computer Lab...learning something new every day....me too! Grade 5: Finish your table in Word " Six Things About Me". Copy and paste your photo to a Word document, add your name in word art and print out. Data, Frequency Chart and Stem and Leaf Plot will be done with Microsoft Word....create a table. Make sure that each piece is on a separate page. Name of chart centered in the header. Your name in footer. 2. Cover Page in MS Word or Publisher 3. Line Graph, Frequency Table and Bar Graph will be done in Excel. Grade 7 and 8: 1.You will be working on the Milwaukee County Online Card Catalogue for Mrs. Bond's class http://countycat.mcfls.org/
Make sure you have your Library Card with you as you will need the Bar Code to reserve a book. 2. Edit your picture with Microsoft Picture Manager and save it to your flash drive as ME2. Copy and paste your original and ME2 to a Word Document. Add your name in Word Art and print out. Links:

Week of September 7 '09(video) Grades 4-8 Self Portraits with Mr. Picasso Head and Art Pad: 1. Design your face with Mr. Picasso Head and sign with the signature 2. Print out your face 3. Use the printout and recreate the face with Art Pad 4. Use the text function to add your name 5. Print out the face with Art Pad and cut out the Picasso head and mount on bottom of page Do the one-minute typing test to get a WPM score. Remember we are working towards 25 wpm with 100% accuracy by the end of 8th grade. Repeat this 3 times and make sure I get your score recorded. Try DRAW ON Grades 1-3 Draw your face, type in your name, and print it out with Art Pad
