Laura is an original member of the preschool staff. She worked for many years as a classroom teacher. These experiences have helped her bring a greater level of understanding to her role as an administrator. 

She graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She received her Masters Degree in American Studies with an emphasis in nineteenth-century women’s culture from the University of Kansas, where she also worked on her doctorate.

Laura has two children who graduated from St. Francis School. Her daughter Katherine graduated from St. Francis High School and currently attends Bowdoin College. Her son Tommy currently attends St. Francis High School.
