Mary Pat is concerned with the total child, that each will grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.
Mary Pat received her BS in early childhood education from the University of Kentucky and her Master’s in Education from the University of Louisville. She attended the Gesell Institute and High Scope Training. She also worked as a validator for the National Association for the Education of Young Children from 1997-2004. During the 1999 school year, she performed quality check evaluations for the Community Coordinated Child Care YMCA Early Childhood Programs in Jefferson County and also taught a 4C’s class on classroom management. In addition to supervising student teachers, Mary Pat was awarded the Early Childhood Trainer’s Credential from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
Mary Pat began her teaching career in 1973 as the first kindergarten teacher at Holy Trinity School. She is an original member of the preschool staff.
Mary Pat also volunteers for many organizations and activities.
