Erik Phelps enters his second year of teaching and coaching in the physical education department teaching grades JK-8th grade and coaching the JV soccer team along with the varsity Basketball team.

As a kid, Mr. Phelps's father was in the military so they moved 10 times in a 12 year period, settling down in Louisville in 1986. A graduate of Trinity High School, he was an all-state academic performer on the baseball team. After graduation he attended the University of Louisville playing baseball and receiving a B.S. degree in Sociology.

Mr. Phelps is also the Head Baseball Coach at Holy Cross High School and has 11 years of coaching experience at both the high school and college levels. He enjoys staying fit along with playing baseball and golf in his spare time.
