Vision:  Strength, Agility, Fitness and Sportsmanship

In physical education, students will acquire knowledge about the relationship between quality exercise, proper nutrition and a healthy body.  They will engage in activities, which develop coordination, build skills, and promote strength, agility and cardio-vascular fitness.  Sportsmanship and character develop through competition.

Student Goals

Students will:

  • Discuss making healthy choices about eating and exercise for lifelong health and be given opportunities to practice.
  • Practice being effective team members.
  • Engage themselves fully in games.
  • Practice being resilient in making progress.
  • Practice being tolerant of different abilities among classmates.
  • Acquire an appreciation for the effort required to achieve excellence through practice and discussion.
