I began teaching at NWLSD in September 1991 after graduating from Kutztown University with a degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education.   I completed my Master's Degree in Library Science in May 2003, also at Kutztown University.  I have taught Kindergarten, First and Third grade.  Now I am in the best place of our school...the Library!  

My favorite grade as a student was Third Grade at 12th Street Elementary School in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania.  Since that time, I was destined to follow in Mrs. Rice's footsteps and provide a fun and loving learning atmosphere.

My husband is also a teacher so we enjoy spending holidays and summer vacations together.  Our daughter, Sarah, and son, Patrick, also enjoy the extra time together doing fun family activities.  As a family, we enjoy swimming, going to Knoebel's Park, watching Disney movies and spending time with our extended family.

Things I love...pizza, ice cream, movies and popcorn, chocolate, and browsing in book stores!
