Click above for more info! Last summer 101,361 students participated from all over the world and read 64,213,141 minutes! This year, Scholastic set a goal of 75 million minutes!
If our school finishes in the Top 20 of schools around the world, we will get our school name published in the 2013 Scholastic Book of Records! So READ, READ, READ! They say to prevent the "summer slide" each child should read 4 books over the summer! That's not a lot! The Summer Reading Challenge began on May 1st and runs through August 31st. Log your minutes online at http://www.scholastic.com/summer or keep track using the paper log Mrs. Hanlon gave you at school. Useful files for you to print are at the bottom of the page.
